** Alchemy Angels **

This post is just to let you all know that from now on I will be posting my new releases on a different blog: http://www.alchemyblog.net/.

This is basically because sometimes I would like to blog about other things and its not fair to Izzy if I do so in a blog that we share!

I have also created a new in-world group (with the subscribe-o-matic system so you wont have to use up your slots). It’s easier for me to manage things that way. The former *AlchemyAngels* group is now only the Angels group so if you were subscribed to that one please come to my store to subscribe on mine!!!

Izzy and I are doing a fashion show together this Saturday 5th of April, here is the invitation, if you have time please come, we will be really happy to see you!!

Hello Everyone!

I apologise for the small release… my Dad was over from Chile last week so I went completely away from my computer for that time! :) We had a great time and now that he is not here the place feels empty:(!!! But theres too much to do to dwell on that! I hope you all had a great easter!! (I’m still munching on chocolate eggs! :P)

I designed this release a couple of weeks ago but it took me ages to get the time to do the posters for it. Speaking of posters, I have also decided to change the look of them a little bit (the ones in the store), mainly because the ones I have now don’t allow me to show variations of skirts in an elegant way in such a narrow space!! lol So if you go in the shop and it looks a bit messy please excuse me but I’m still experimenting with the layouts! (There’s the question of space too!! — it is never enough!)

The basics range will be removed from the store soon too:( I’m trying to keep the lag at minimum so I guess I’ll have to take those items away until I move somewhere bigger!!!!

Ok I’ll show you the new releases shall I? :)

This is “Unique”, as you can see I’ve created 3 skirts for it. From more playful to elegant and sophisticated! The colours of the belts are very fruity! (There are 4 colours to choose from). I want to thank my dear friend Holly McCann for posing for this poster, she looks great!!! The shoes in this picture are from Periquita and the hair from ETD.

Flirty is a 50’s style dress with a twist! With a polka dots texture in 5 colours to choose from and a bright coloured lace combination for each one of them! It also comes with a pencil skirt for a more formal look!! I hope you like it!!! My friend Erpla Prieto posed for this one, I thought she had the perfect look for it!! The shoes are from Periquita also and the hair from TekuTeku.

No that doesn’t mean “don’t spill the Guinness”! According to wikipedia it’s usually translated as “Ireland Forever” but it’s actually a Scottish phrase. Aren’t you glad now that you read this blog? :P

Connie and I have our own translation: “Any excuse for a free gift” so here is our St Patrick’s Day offering, in conjunction with Erpla Prieto of Periquita

Connie has of course designed the cutest dress in the world, complete with apron (which does not mean I’ll be cooking anytime soon), Erpla has made a jaunty, sexy top hat for us and I have actually produced a pair of shoes with sculpty bits!

Everything is free of course and available at both our main stores until midnight SLT on Monday 17th.

Nearly forgot! There are Lucky Hearts still at Angels, filled with shoes from the normal range. I’ll be removing them when the sim to sim Easter Egg Hunt starts next week.

Hello Everyone!!!

I apologise for not having written in so long… After moving from London to San Francisco (California baby!!!!) and now finally finding a place and getting some furniture I’m ready to release these new designs! I must confess it took me ages to make some of them because I was literally working on the floor!!! My table finally arrived today and the computer desks from London haven’t arrived yet!!! So trust me, my neck is not happy! I am though, its been a while since I saw the sun shining the way it does here so my spirits have definitely been lifted!

Here are the new creations I’m releasing today, I hope you like them and please feel welcome to give any feedback! Also remember to send pictures of yourself and friends so I can put them on the photo board in the shop!

Sincerity - This elegant ballgown has a nice skirt with subtle layering, it comes in 6 elegant colours. Please let me know if you would like a custom colour made! The skirt comes with the *SS* and non-script version. The jewelery in this image was made by designer Alienbear Gupte.

Celestial - This design was going around my head for ages. One day I finally decided to give it a go and although what was in my head was a bit different, I was quite happy with this result! I made 3 skirts for it a mini skirt (for a sexy look), a short skirt (for a more formal event, like a cocktail), and a ballgown skirt (for a, elegant party). They all come with the *SS* script and the non-script version. The shoes on this image are from Armidi.

Inspiration - This is a really cute dress to welcome the spring. It comes with 2 different skirts, one, like the one in the image, the other is a more bell shaped skirt but also comes down from above the waist. It has 4 different colours to choose from. The shoes on this image are also from Armidi.

Serene - The poised look of this dress says it all, I hope. I thought of a sophisticated, smart and stylish woman when I created it and I hope the results reflect that! The shoes on this image were created by Erpla Prieto, owner of Periquita. This dress comes with another skirt that is the same length but wider than the one in the image, they both come in the *SS* and non-script versions.

Oceanic - This dress was inspired on a day trip to the beach I took the other day. The day was gorgeous and the views were fantastic! I HAD to make something that reminded me of it! I know, it looks a bit kinky o.O, but its also playful and sexy! There are 4 colours to choose from. It comes with the little hat in the picture and also the skirt in the *SS* and non-script version. The shoes on this picture were also made by the owner of Periquita. I showed her the dress a while ago and she told me she had just the shoes to complement it! She will place at my main store later today for a while but you can also find more colours and other designs at her main store.

Our update group and FashCon always get the first notices (join them both at the front of the store) but there’s still time to get your Remarkable shoes at 50% discount in (Angels) main store only until 7pm SLT today (Monday).

The original silver shoe was made for our EFADA contest entry and I’ve now released another 6 colours (including black of course). The delicate lacy pattern matches Alchemy’s Remarkable dress perfectly, and the heel tip gives another flash of colour. The shape is elegant and sophisticated with a slim high (but not too high) heel. No bling on this shoe either.

As you can see from the pic, it also goes with lots of other clothes styles (I’m wearing Alchemy’s Innocence in this one) .. I just love capris with heels! Oh and this pic is the very first one where I tried to be Connie. LOL she’s groaning now, I can hear her! She’s been very patient with me (you missed this exchange - Connie: “You need to get rid of that white border round your shoes” me: “It’s supposed to be there, it’s to light the shoes” Connie: meaningful silence). Well at least we have fun .. and you can laugh at my poster but behind my back please! :)

Don’t forget the beautiful Amor Valentine gift set (see previous post) is still available until February 14th. It’s moved to under the stairs, to make room for Remarkable. And don’t trip over the rose petals on the floor .. well, it just had to be done!

Hello everyone!

Isobel DeSantis, Alienbear Gupte and me have been working on this free outfit for a while now and today it was finally ready for a release!

The dress I designed is very girly and cute! Lots of lace and of course a heart on the waist and on the texture of the skirts… yes skirtS! It comes with 3 different shapes of skirts to make it more versatile, so you better come and get it!!!

Isobel made shoes to match! They are really delicate yet sexy so it gives the outfit a more sultry look!!. Check out the silver hearts hanging from the side and the bow at the back!!! So many scrumptious details!!

Alienbear designed a very cute earring and necklace set to match as well! Its also very feminine and delicate and the prim work, as always with her designs, is outstanding!

So, after a very stressful end of the year with loads of new things and me needing a holiday like never before, there is finally new releases for you girls!

My holidays gave me the inspiration and energy I needed to start this year:) I also got the chance to meet one of my dear SL friends, Alienbear Gupte. She not only showed me around Hong Kong but also took me for a traditional meal that took away (only a little bit) my fear of the unknown food you can see over there, but also explained about their culture and bought me and my family gifts!!! I’ve promised I’ll send one back (she’s a fan of teddy bears), so Alienbear, don’t worry, I haven’t forgotten!!!

This year I am also moving countries, actually next Friday to be precise, so probably the next release will be a few weeks after that, since probably next week I’ll be totally stressed packing and doing last minute visits!!! argh! lol

Well I guess I’ve bored you long enough with what has been happening in my life lately so I’ll get one with showing you the new releases!

First we have Fantasy, this is a ballgown I made just before going on holidays. It can be used also as a wedding dress. It’s very elegant and delicate. The ribbon on the top comes in 6 colours to choose from. Check out the demo to look at the details on the back:) For this image I have used jewellery made by Alienbear Gupte so go to her shop if you want to get the whole look!

Next in line is Timeless, which is a very elegant dress that comes in 6 vibrant colours. It comes with 2 skirts you can wear individually or at the same time. The necklace is not included but I got it from Tickled Pink.

Timeless also comes with the top and glitchpants in underlayers as well as a long top in the jacket layer and also the underlayers in case you would like to wear it with something else than the skirt.

Destiny is a more everyday outfit. It comes with several layers of the outfit so you can see what suits you best. It also comes with a shorter version of the top in case you would like some tummy showing. This outfit comes in 4 colours for you to choose from:) The belt of this outfit also comes as a separate jacket layer in case you would like to wear it with something else.

Gracious is a cute dress with buttons (I totally love buttons!) on the front and the back and a nice ribbon around the waist with a bow on the back. It comes with 2 skirts (actually the skirt on the poster is the second option). The other one is quite transparenty and silky and very 50s. The top also comes in a longer version to wear without the skirts and in the underwear and jacket layers too.

I’ve also made an outfit called Symphony. It can be either used as a dress or a whole outfit that you can either wear with boots or with the sculpty legs I’ve made for it. The dress is very feminine and the skirt very 50’s. The outfit looks sexier but still elegant! I have also done the top as a jacket and underwear layers and done the same thing with the glitch pants so you have a lot of choices when it comes with matching it with other things!

I have also added some extra colours for the Remarkable dress I released before Christmas so come to the main store to take a look!

Thank you to everyone who came along on Sunday for our Skating, Sleigh Ride and Santa party to celebrate Connie’s new releases :) It may not look like it in this shot (we were too busy to take many photos) but we filled the sim and at one point no one could leave! (I promise we didn’t fix the tp .. well, not much :P)

The rink is set up next to Angels main store (on the site of the old store). Connie’s new designs and our Remarkable EFA Design Awards entry are laid out around the edge of the ice rink and we have a HUGE Christmas tree with free gifts. During the party, Connie twice put her phenomenal Navidad dress up for grabs for 5 mins at a time and I threw in the matching shoes. We also put up several dresses and matching shoes at silly prices at various times, including Dream, Starburst, Poem and the big highlight, Alegria Mystery. We spent the rest of the time skating, taking scary sleigh rides above the sim (I think we might have lost a few guests there - sorry about that lol) and sitting on Santa’s lap. Probably best not to delve too closely into the last one :P Rina made herself useful greeting everyone who went into the store and begging them to throw her ball; she refused to go on the ice, her paws got too cold.

All of these (skating anims, sleigh ride, santa, gifts, new releases) are still on there by the way, so go along and have some fun!

Of course Connie and I had to try the skating out before the event just to prove that Remarkable is the perfect choice for any occasion!

We now have the wonderful EZ-Note message board up in both stores, to which you can add photos, audio messages and notes - so please take some pics (preferably in AlchemyAngels outfits but really we love to see you anyway lol) and put them up.

More exciting news in the next post!

OMG I have stared at the screen for a while not knowing where to start! Theres so much going on!! A couple of months ago i made all these outfits and dresses.. well not all of them but most of them that is. But the poster making took a very long time because my photographer had some RL problems:(. So I had to take matters to myself and spent the weekend making the posters! LOL It was quite the challenge but it was worth it:) I had fun, and now I’m able to release all these things I had lost somewhere in my inventory! I must tell you that most of them are quite summery because when I designed them it wasn’t winter of course! but I don’t want to wait for next summer to release them because I’d rather make new things for then!

I must dedicate a special thanks to Izzy who encouraged me into doing them in the first place, since I wasn’t feeling confident enough:). She is the best friend EVER and oh so cool and stylish of course! BTW remember that throughout all december Izzy has her shoe advent calendar freebies! So go get your free shoes every day!!!

Oh Izzy just tells me theres a wrong post in a blog she has seen this morning so I’ll explain this in case anyone is wondering what is going on. It says that we are giving away a free version of gold and silver Dream, which is not true. There are freebies in both our stores for this month, but dream isn’t one of them!

Well, as the title says we will be having an ice skating session over at Izzy’s place to celebrate the season and the new releases I’m finally able to show you all! And there will be some surprises as well for all of you who go! (Including an appearance of the free Christmas dress (Navidad) and shoes for all of you weren’t able to get it in time!!)

We also entered the EFA Design Awards!!! I’ll post image of our entry below:)

Ok, Ill start in order of creation LOL!

(Izzy will surely make shoes for all these releases so be patient!!! Shoe making is def. a very slow process!! Besides she always needs to see the finished designs to get inspired! …well that and the fact she is a perfectionist! which is never a bad thing when we are talking shoes right??)

First we have Moment, which is a fun and playful outfit. It comes with 2 sets of capris, one plain and the other with a detail on the leg, and you can get it in 8 different fabric designs!

Innoncence is a very femenine and cute outfit. It comes in various colours and has 3 different coloured capris… one is grey, the other black, and the other is the same colour as the ribbon on the shirt. The shirt also comes in grey and black. Theres also prim ribbons that adjust to the legs and prim cuffs!!!

Primrose is a very colourful gown. It’s very sexy, yet delicate and extremely femenine! Definitely one you will stand out in!

Primavera is a cute, sexy and flowery denim dress:) it has a very nice texture and a nice ribbon at the back!:) the top on this dress comes in an undergarment and a jacket version in case youd like to wear it with something else!:)

Ok and last but not least (lol) Adorable. This is a more wintery version. It comes with a cute scarf and a wrap around wool belt (which is not attached to the skirt in case you like it best without!)!:) I just HAD to call it like that because nothing else came to mind when I looked at the finalised version!:) Its very cozy but also very sexy!! Its got a deep back.. so I recommend you wear the scarf with it or you’ll get a cold! LOL this dress also comes with the undergarment and jacket version of the top for those who prefet to wear it with something else!:D its good to mix and match! I hope you like it!

On a different note, as i said before Izzy and I have entered the EFA Design Awards with a dress and matching shoes called Remarkable. It is a very elegant and distinguished dress! The silky skirt and scarf make a very poised combination! Take a look!

Great holiday gifts for 2 days only, new dress and shoes and an Advent Calendar stuffed with shoes! Yes it’s the holidays! lol

Now Connie and I live in the same country, less than 60 miles apart .. and we’ve known each other in SL since January, but last weekend was the first time we’ve met in RL! We had a blast and guess what we did? We shopped! For 5 hours straight! lol Connie, you rock! :)

So somehow with all that we managed to get organised enough to do a joint release of Charismatic, plus we have a stunning free dress available for 2 days only and matching free shoes. AND an Advent Calendar full of shoes! Phew!

Ok, Connie’s Charismatic dress is cute yet sophisticated, with puff sculpty sleeves and optional lace on the full skirt. In 5 great colourways with a contrast sash and bow. My shoes use the same colours in reverse for matching sets that can be dressed up or down, according to your mood :) We’d like to thank Grazia Horwitz for being the very first to blog this, even before we did!

Our holiday gifts are firstly a stunning dress from Connie called Navidad. It’s elegant and sexy, with its low neckline, prim fur collar and choice of skirts. It’s so beautiful that we actually had a very honest customer query if we’d made a mistake on the price because she couldn’t believe it was free! :) The shoes are the same texture as the dress and have the white fur as a trim. The set is available for free in both our stores for 2 days only - i.e. until noon SLT on Tuesday.

The Navidad shoes will be available a little longer; until December 25th in the Advent Calendar at Angels flagship store only. The calendar contains Angels shoes designed especially for the holidays with lots of glitter and sparkle! Shoes will be given out randomly each day from now until December 25th, and everyone will get at least one pair of each style if you grab your gift each day. Note that due to the idiosyncrasies of LSL, the calendar changes date at midnight GMT, which is 4pm SLT. I’d like to thank Renee Roundfield for writing the great script for me :)
